Shandon has enjoyed skiing at Royal Gorge for 30 years, has owned a home in Serene since 1999, and has lived in Serene full time since 2018. Along with her husband Andy, she raised two kids who share a love of and a commitment to the area, spending long summers at the lake and winters at Sugar Bowl. Shandon has devoted the past 20 years to volunteering for nonprofits and local governments, serving in leadership roles on several boards and town committees. With an educational background in water resources, she’s excited to combine her experience of service with her passion for all things water related. When she’s not thinking about water she can be found riding bikes, skiing, paddling, or hiking.
