Karen has been a Board member since December 2012, and during her tenure was President of the Board for 2.5 years. She still serves on the Legal Committee. Karen is retired but in her working years, she was an Officer in the San Francisco Fire Department. She is also an attorney. Karen, her partner KC, and their two German Shorthaired Pointers enjoy the recreational opportunities in Serene Lakes. Loving Serene Lakes as nonresident visitors for many years, Karen and KC finally built their own cabin in 2002.
